Concerns

Organizations sometimes proceed forward without being aware of where they are at from a people, process, and technology maturity level. They can also rely only on the project status and milestones and not track the changes in people, processes, and technologies during this time. They may also complete the project at a future time, but be unaware of the other impacts across the enterprise and not be integrated fully.

Guidance

The current state and future state will often use the same parts of the framework to do gap analysis.  The roadmaps will often synch multiple projects, vendors, and programs to a milestone set at some future time.
