People-Process-Technologies

Elevator

People, the processes they use, and the technologies they employ need to be integrated cohesively, viewed as a single unit, and yet preserve the issues that apply to each independently.

Concerns

Organizations focus on strategy, projects, and operations, but rarely on the people, process, and technology integrations within their organizations. ‘

Guidance

The enterprise architect takes ownership on these integrations and how they effect the organization. Bringing these three parts together into an architecture that is resilient to future strategies, inclusive of projects, and efficiently allocated to operations is key to success of any organization. The enterprise architect realizes the dichotomous relationships of people, processes, and technologies as networks and as units that entirely separate from each other.
